Recent years have seen a number of important developments in understanding foundations of relativistic hydrodynamics and emergence of new applicational areas, as well as interdisciplinary connections.
This virtual workshop, building on a tradition of previous in-person meetings in Mainz in 2016, Trento in 2018 and Banff in 2019, aims to discuss state of the art developments on relativistic hydrodynamics in the form of 10 informative talks across the whole spectrum of developments.
The meeting takes place on 11 December (Friday) and 14 December (Monday) 2020 between 16:00 and 20:00 CET (correspondingly 10:00-14:00 EST). Each talk will be 25 minutes (uninterrupted) + 15 minutes questions. Each session is going to consist of a block of three talks, followed by a 40 minutes break for informal discussions or rest, and finish with a block of two talks. Speaker permitting, we will record the talks and make them available on the QQFI YouTube Channel.
The workshop is a joint venture between the Gravity, Quantum Fields and Information group and the Illinois Center for Advanced Studies of the Universe. In case of any questions, please contact the organizers: Michal P. Heller (michal.p.heller[AT]aei.mpg.de) and Jorge Noronha (jn0508[AT]illinois.edu).
